Part of a series of paintings created as a collaboration with The Alternative, one of Ottawa’s most unique adult stores.

The subject is painted in isolation of the background. I found the juxtaposition of the shiny latex items against the natural wood background to be an interesting composition that takes the subject matter out of its typical environment.

The image is purposely forced off the edge of the board to enhance the sense of increasing size.
